ABC4Kids is built for children. Our policy is simple: we don’t want your child’s data, we don’t collect it, and we don’t let third parties collect it either.

What we don’t do

• No analytics. No Google Analytics, Plausible, PostHog or similar.
• No tracking pixels. No Meta pixel, no advertising tags.
• No accounts. You don’t sign up or log in.
• No cookies beyond strictly essential. We do not set tracking cookies.
• No third-party scripts that collect personal data.
• No ads of any kind.

What the browser stores

To make the app work, your browser may store the following locally on your device — never on our servers:

• The language you last selected (as a browser preference).
• Standard browser caches (so the app loads quickly next time).

You can clear this at any time from your browser’s storage settings.

How the app works technically

• The app is served as static files from our servers and a CDN. Standard web-server request logs (IP address, timestamp, requested file, user agent) are kept briefly for security and operational monitoring and are not used to profile children or users.
• Speech is generated locally in your browser via the standard Web Speech API. Audio stays on your device.
• Sound effects and the app bundle are delivered via Cloudflare, which may process request metadata for security and delivery (standard CDN behaviour).

Children and GDPR

ABC4Kids is aimed at children aged 3–6. Because we deliberately collect no personal data, there is nothing to consent to, and no data request can return data we do not hold. The service is operated from Sweden within the EU and is built to align with the GDPR’s data minimisation principle.
