ABC4Kids is built and maintained by Axel, an freelancing Product Manager & Developer in Sweden. It is published as a free, ad-free learning app for children aged 3–6, without any investors nor analytics, and no plans to ever charge for it.

About the founder

Axel is a Product Manager & Developer based in Sweden and the dad of a three year old son. ABC4Kids started as a small home project to give his son something playful and screen-respectful for learning letters and numbers. Additional languages was added to share app to friends and family abroad. Once it worked at home, it was made public so other families could use it.

Why ABC4Kids exists

Most apps for young children are either paid, full of advertising, or quietly built around tracking. ABC4Kids takes the opposite approach: open the page, pick a language, play. Nothing about your child is sent to a server. The goal is something educational without being commercial.
