Letter Tracing

Age range: 2–4 years

Letter Tracing

Letter Tracing teaches handwriting motor patterns. ABC4Kids draws each uppercase letter as a series of guided strokes the child follows with a finger or stylus. The strokes are forgiving — close-enough shapes are accepted, with instant audio feedback. Stroke order is enforced to build the muscle memory most schools look for, while effort is rewarded generously so children stay confident even when their first attempt is wobbly.

What kids learn

  • Handwriting motor patterns.
  • Correct stroke order.
  • Fine motor control on a touch screen.
  • Letter-shape memory through repetition.
